The power project construction site is located in Sichuan Province, from Huangyan to Xinqiao with total length of 5.8 kilometers along the hilly area and the voltage level for this project is 220KV, we adopt 24-core OPGW fiber optic cable.
The specific laying schedule is as follows:
1, Preparation before OPGW laying
Using two group staff to release two reels OPGW cable simultaneously, divide into two teams for OPGW optical fiber cable display and wiring, and organize electric engineering and construction training for related staff. Safety training ensures the quality and progress of the project .
Using traction equipment in this project to keep the OPGW cable suspended to avoid Wear. In addition, the OPGW fiber optic cable and the matching fittings need to be checked for types, quantity and quality before laying, each drum cable need to be tested and make records at the same time.
2,OPGW optical cable laying
During the construction deployment of OPGW optical fiber cables, professional technicians are required to provide guardianship when crossing spans. For OPGW optical cables, we also need to provide appropriate shockproof and waterproof measures. In addition, we must have professional technical personnel in the entire construction project and responsible for the whole process of supervision to ensure construction safety and project quality. OPGW optical fiber cable deployment adopts tension traction, the optical cable is coiled on the pulley, through the traction rope – twisting device – release twist whip – traction network sets – OPGW connection. In order to prevent the optical fiber cable from being worn out, the optical fiber cable is generally maintained in a relaxed, arc-shaped state, and cannot be pulled in a random manner. It is required to strictly follow the requirements of the power engineering design. During the entire laying of OPGW cable, the traction of the optical cable must be kept stable, and the sag and tensile stress of the optical fiber cable must be observed at all times. After the OPGW optical fiber cable laying is finished, we need to install corresponding fittings in time, including hanging hardware, shockproof hammers, tension clamps, etc. In addition, in order to ensure that the signal transmission will not be affected when the line is short-circuited, we must have a dedicated ground wire which is made of aluminum wire and has a certain length. The connection with the metal fittings and the iron tower should be in good contact. The length should be suitable for measuring the resistance of the grounding wire.
Actually The installation process and precautions of OPGW fiber optic cables and ADSS fiber optic cables are similar, it is particularly important to carry out rational design according to the terrain of the construction site and the combination of local climate characteristics.
